Hello Residents of Foxfield Village,

The Foxfield Master Association board of directors has been doing our best to react to the changes in the way that the county and state are enforcing the initial plan to reopen Kansas provided by the governor in early May. Currently, the county is recommending that businesses and facilities continue to follow the plan, and as of today, we have officially moved into phase 3.

You can read the latest version of the plan here: https://covid.ks.gov/ad-astra-a-plan-to-reopen-kansas/

Regarding the pool, we have officially opened the pool for the year, but have implemented a few changes to help follow the guidelines provided by the state government and the CDC.  In an effort to maintain the safety of the residents who choose to visit the pool this year, the Foxfield Village Master Association Board of Directors has determined that additional pool rules must be followed when visiting the pool, and have prepared an agreement and waiver for use. Before your pool keycard is activated for the season, you must complete this agreement and waiver.

Additional Rules and Changes to the Pool for This Year:
  • No guests are allowed this pool season. Only residents and members of their household are allowed in the pool area or pool.
  • If you or a member of your household are symptomatic (fever of 100.4+ or a persistent cough), you must not enter the pool area or pool for at least two weeks (14 days).
  • If you or a member of your household have been in contact with individuals diagnosed with COVID-19, you must not enter the pool area or pool for at least two weeks (14 days).
  • When in the pool and on the pool deck, you must maintain proper social distancing from those outside of your household (no less than 6 ft).
  • Pool seating and tables are not provided this year due to the need of frequent cleaning. You are welcome to bring portable chairs from home (but please take them along when you leave the pool area).
  • When entering the pool entrance or exiting a restroom you should use the provided hand sanitizer.
  • When not in the pool, wearing a cloth mask is highly recommended.

Regarding social events, at the time of my previous update, we had already cancelled the pool-opening-party that we’ve held on pool-opening weekend. Because of the level of uncertainty at this point in the plan, we have decided to wait to officially schedule any social events that involve gathering this year until we get closer to phase-out. We’re still hoping to have a large celebration this summer when it is safe, and will announce more details as soon as they are available.

As always, please feel free to reach out to me via email, or contact Shelley at Centennial if you have any questions.

Thanks!
